My journey wasn’t glamorous — it was real. I grew my salon one step at a time: spare room → rented room → commercial lease → team → six-figure turnover → and eventually, a successful sale that even caught the attention of the Courier Mail. But behind every milestone was the same girl showing up early, staying late, googling answers at midnight, and trying to figure out how to run a business while still being the therapist. IT WASN'T EASY
There were moments I was completely burnt out. Overwhelmed by clients, admin, money stress, and the pressure to hold everything together. I made mistakes, undercharged, overworked, said yes when I should’ve said no, and nearly ran myself into the ground. But what saved me was learning how to get strategic: putting systems in place, creating structure around my time, simplifying what mattered, and rebuilding from the inside out. When I finally treated my salon like a business, not just a service... Everything changed. That’s where the real growth began.
